Description

Serving as a stout 52" lever, this peavey spares you a lot of back-breaking effort when prying apart heavy logs and maneuvering them into position. Its fixed tip beds firmly in wood; rotating the log in one direction engages the 8 1/2" hinged hook, while pulling in the opposite direction releases it to begin another rotation, applying an efficient ratcheting action to roll the log.

The forged carbon-steel head is affixed to the ash handle with a 2 3/8" tapered socket and secured with a steel screw. Made in Eddington, Maine, by Peavey Manufacturing, a firm that has produced dependable tools for the timber and log-building trades since 1857.
