Anyone who has ever had to remove a quantity of old staples with tools not designed for this purpose knows how frustrating it can be. The thin blade tip of this specially designed lifter easily gets under the spine of the staple without damaging the surrounding wood. The cranked neck provides significant leverage and gives an even lifting action that minimizes breakage and removes staples up to 1/2" long in a single motion.
At 1/4" wide, it fits the narrowest of staples. The blade is hardened for durability and the tough butyrate handle withstands hammer blows. 8 1/2" overall.
