Skilton Passive Sander Handle & Pads

A sanding pad that passively turns against a spinning project instead of being directly power driven is often preferred by turners for finish sanding with finer grits. This system has a 5 3/4" long quick-mount-and-release handle with an integral bearing designed to hold a round-shanked pad at a 15° offset for hand clearance, making it easier to reach inside curved forms.

A quick pull-push is all you need to remove or replace a pad from the handle. The 2" pad size is for acutely curved work, the 3" for larger and flatter surfaces.
