For cutting joints in drawer runners, dividers, and stretchers (the framework, or "carcass", of a piece), this lightweight and maneuverable premium saw is scaled for smaller work than a tenon saw. Hand made by a small family-owned company in Oregon, it is superbly balanced and finished.
The fine teeth (13 tpi) are filed to a crosscut pattern and leave a smooth finish. Made of Swedish spring-steel, the saw blade is 0.020" thick, 11" long, and has a cutting depth of 2 1/2". Total set is 0.008", with a 0.028" wide kerf. Overall length is 16 1/8"; weighs 14 oz. Lifetime warranty.
