Folding Dozuki

Quantity:

A folding saw is convenient for working on the job site as it easily fits into a pocket or can be stored in a tool bag.

Useful for any fine work, particularly dovetails and tenons, where accuracy and a smooth cut are important, the 17 tpi crosscut blade is 2 3/8" deep and 0.011" thick, and cuts a 0.018" kerf. Despite the fine teeth, it will cut a 2 × 4 faster than any traditional Western saw.

To protect the teeth when not in use, the blade folds into the beech handle (which is unlacquered for grip, but an oil finish can be applied if desired) and is secured with a durable sprung thumb latch.

Folded, the saw is a compact 12" long; measures 21 1/4" when open.
