The K5 pocket-hole jig incorporates an improved quick-release clamping fixture and a redesigned indexing pin that speeds switching from one stock thickness to another. Made from glass-reinforced nylon with a hardened steel drilling insert, the jig lets you center two holes 9/16", 7/8" or 1 7/16" apart, depending on material width. The jig’s clamp has a toothed ratcheting mechanism that provides 1 3/8" of coarse adjustment, allowing you to quickly snug the jaw up to the work by hand. A convenient front-mounted handle moves the non-marring jaw up to 3/4" for final tightening or instant release. Removable 1 1/2" thick stock-support wings help stabilize long workpieces, and have built-in storage compartments for drill and driver bits or other accessories. The spring-loaded indexing pin lets you position the drilling block to accommodate material from 1/2" to 1 1/2" thick in 1/8" increments. An included snap-in shroud connects to any 1 1/4" vacuum hose for easy debris clearance, with a pivoting outlet that lets you orient the hose to avoid obstruction. Also included:

The 675-piece pocket-hole screw kit contains five commonly used sizes of self-tapping pocket-hole screws, conveniently organized in a tough plastic divider box with a secure latch. The kit includes 150 each of:
- 1" #6 pan-head fine thread
- 1" #7 pan-head coarse thread
- 1 1/4" #7 washer-head fine thread
- 1 1/4" #8 washer-head coarse thread
For exterior applications, seventy-five 2 1/2" #8 washer-head coarse thread Blue-Kote screws are also included. Fine threads are best suited to hardwoods and coarse threads to softwood, particleboard, plywood, etc. All have a square-recess drive. Screw refills are available separately.
The robust all-steel auto-adjust clamp, though developed to secure pocket-hole joints during assembly, is suitable for a wide variety of general clamping duties, particularly those that require stepping over projections or positioning the clamp at a distance from the edge of the work. It is adjustable for clamping force, and once set, automatically maintains the same force regardless of stock thickness, so you can switch workpieces without having to make adjustments. The thumbscrew adjuster lets you apply just a light hold for delicate work or up to 400 lb of clamping force at the maximum setting. It has a 6" reach and accommodates stock up to 4 1/4" thick.
