With 6" long shanks, the bits in this set provide extra reach for drilling through thick beams. The unique tapered head design also lets you change the boring angle as you drill to customize the hole shape.
- Four-piece kit includes three boring bits (7/8", 1 1/8" and 1 3/8") and a replacement shaft with an integral lead screw
- Spurs score the perimeter of the hole ahead of the cutters to reduce tear-out on entry
- Long lead screw pulls cutters smoothly into the wood to reduce chatter
- Relieved sides reduce sidewall friction
- All bits are 8" long overall with a 3/8" hexagonal shank
