Description

A set of hex-shank drill bits makes a useful addition to any workshop, but typical utility-grade bits are often poorly made. Not so with these. Made in the USA to high standards of quality, they drill clean, accurately sized holes in wood, plastics and metals with minimal run-out.

In a regular drill, the hex shanks can be used with a 1/4" bit holder to permit quick bit changes. When switching between drilling holes and driving screws, for example, you can simply pop the bits in and out of the holder without having to re-chuck them every time. And when used without a bit holder in a keyless or Jacobs chuck, the hex shank resists slippage far better than a regular round-shanked bit.

Unlike regular drill bits, they also fit the quick-change chucks found on standard impact drivers, which are typically lighter and more compact than most drills, so they’re often easier to use in confined spots.

Supplied in a plastic storage case, the 14-piece set includes two 1/16" bits plus one each of 5/64", 3/32", 7/64", 1/8", 9/64", 5/32", 11/64", 3/16", 13/64", 7/32", 15/64" and 1/4" sizes.

Precisely machined from high-speed steel with a titanium coating for wear and corrosion resistance, the bits offer excellent quality and performance.
