Yes, but they're designed for softwoods and green hardwood, so using them in dry hardwood will eventually burn the scoring spur from the extra heat and resistance.

These single-flute high-carbon steel bits are accurately ground and have excellent chip-carrying capacity. Usually used at low speeds, they have a well-formed lead screw, a single scoring spur, and hexagonal shanks (bits 3/4" and larger require a 1/2" chuck).
These are construction bits and are intended for use on softwoods or green hardwoods only. They will work with dry hardwood, but eventually burning the scoring spur is almost inevitable. Though we offer sizes under 3/8", they must be used with care as the generous flute size makes the small bits inherently weaker.
All of this sounds a bit negative, but it is just realistic. These are good bits at a very good price. They will serve you well if treated reasonably.

Not necessarily; sizes under 3/8" have the same generous flute cut as the larger bits, which makes the thinner shaft inherently weaker, so use extra care with those sizes.
Most sizes fit a standard 3/8" chuck, but 3/4" and larger sizes of these 9 inch single-flute auger bits require a 1/2" chuck to fit the hex shank.
Sizes run from 1/4" to 1 7/16" in 1/16" increments, all with a 9" overall bit length.
