Buffing wheels can become caked with buffing compound or wax over time, producing streaks, smudges and inconsistent results on buffed surfaces. Held against the wheel as it spins, this rake quickly strips away build-up and reconditions the buff to its original texture. Although developed for use with the Beall buffing system, it works with any muslin wheel.

The double-sided rake head is made of acetal, a hard, wear-resistant polymer that doesn’t blacken cloth buffs as steel rakes can. Two rake heads are supplied – one mounted on a 7 1/4" Baltic birch plywood handle, plus one spare.

Made in Canada.
