Ideal for smaller workshops or jobsite use, the Kreg bench-top router table has all the utility of a larger table, but is easier to store and transport.
The table stands 15 3/4" high on its heavy-gauge steel base. Its 15 7/8" × 23 7/8" × 1" thick MDF top has a low-friction dimpled laminate surface, with an extruded aluminum miter slot for mounting jigs that use 3/4" runners.
The 9 1/4" × 11 3/4" × 3/8" phenolic insert plate is supplied undrilled, avoiding the extra dust-trapping holes found on a universal plate; a pattern of lines on the underside helps center the router sub-base to use as a drilling template. It comes with a removable pivot post and has an aperture (3 13/16" major dia.; 3 5/8" minor dia.) that accepts large-diameter bits and Kreg's reducing rings. Four levellers simplify setting the insert flush with the top.
The 3 5/8" high by 24" long extruded aluminum fence has 1/4" T-tracks on the top and face, and is secured by two twist-lever clamps for quick positioning relative to the bit. The two laminate sub-fences split for chip clearance. For jointing or to eliminate sniping on full-thickness profiles, included shim rods can be inserted behind the sub-fences to offset them.
Includes a top-mounted metric/Imperial scale, an adjustable bit guard, three reducing rings (with 1" and 2 5/8" openings, plus one with a 1 3/16" though bore/1 3/8" counterbore), an insert wrench and a 2 1/4" vacuum port. The double featherboard consists of two 5/8" thick featherboards that can be used independently or stacked for use with thick workpieces or those that must be supported on edge. Simple to set up and adjust, they are reversible for installation on either side of the cutter and can be oriented for use as hold-downs. Made of rugged plastic composite, each has 5 1/4" of lateral adjustment relative to the cutter and locks in position using two 1 1/2" wing knobs. Each 6 1/2" long, 7 1/4" wide featherboard comes with 3/4" table bars for use with most miter slots, plus bolts to fit a 1/4" T-track. Spacers and hardware for stacking the featherboards are included. Made in USA.
