Founded in 1981, Misenheimer has built its reputation supplying precision tooling to woodworkers, cabinetmakers and CNC operators. Made in the USA from solid carbide and honed on 600x diamond wheels, these bits cut with a continuous shearing action to reduce chatter and minimize tear-out.
Their helical upcut flutes draw chips toward the shank, much like a drill bit, leaving a clean edge on the opposite face of the work while pulling the router and workpiece together to help maintain accuracy.
The flutes clear waste efficiently, aided by a series of notches along the helical cutting edges that break chips into smaller pieces. This permits faster cuts without clogging, reducing heat build-up, prolonging edge life and requiring less force during plunge cuts. It doesn’t leave as smooth a surface finish as a standard spiral bit, so it’s better suited for rough work.
Available in three sizes, with cut diameters ranging from 1/4" to 1/2". All are shanked to size.
Measurements given are cutting diameter by depth.
