Founded in 1981, Misenheimer has built its reputation supplying precision tooling to woodworkers, cabinetmakers and CNC operators. Made in the USA from solid carbide and honed on 600x diamond wheels, these bits cut with a continuous shearing action to reduce chatter, leaving crisp, clean edges with minimal tear-out.
For clean edges on both faces of the work, their compression-style flute pattern combines upcut flutes at the tip and down-cut flutes at the shank end, shearing fibers toward the center of the workpiece for exceptionally clean cuts. Because this pattern evacuates chips less aggressively, it works best at a slower feed rate to prevent clogging and overheating.
The cutting flutes are coated with a micro-thin ceramic that increases wear resistance and lubricity to prevent heat build-up and oxidation, prolonging edge life.
Shanked to size. Measurements given are cutting diameter by depth.
