Throat inserts reduce chipping and splintering and prevent cut-off kickback. They provide stock support on both sides of the blade during ripping or crosscut work. A second plate will do the same for dado cuts.

Made from melamine-coated phenolic laminate, these zero-clearance, 1/2" thick plates are rigid and low friction. They feature four built-in levelling screws, plus side and end adjustment screws to eliminate plate vibration and secure the plate in the same position.

Sold as a solid piece with a starter recess cut for cutting the slot opening with your table saw for an exact fit. Instructions included.

These inserts let you make an immediate improvement in both the quality and the safety of cuts on your table saw. The Delta model fits Delta Unisaw or Contractor, and other table saws with a 3 3/4" × 13 3/8" opening, including the left-tilt Delta Unisaw. The Craftsman/Ridgid insert fits Craftsman and older Ridgid saws with a 3 3/4" × 14" opening. The Jet or Powermatic 64A model also fits General International table saws with a 3 9/16" × 12 1/2" opening. The Ridgid insert fits the newer TS3650 and TS3660 models with a 1/2" deep × 3 3/4" × 14" throat. All models have a finger through-hole for easier removal.
