Description

Suitable for use with all SawStop cast-iron saws, the standard lock-down insert can be used to replace the insert included with your saw if it becomes damaged, or to create dedicated inserts for each of your blades. Positioning screws and a positive locking latch ensure a tool-free, precise and snug fit in the saw's table. The insert comes with clearance slots for the blade guard and riving knife; so, once it is installed, simply raise the running blade through the insert to create a zero-clearance blade slot. Made of a phenolic core covered top and bottom with a low-friction melamine surface.

The dado zero-clearance insert, suitable for use with an 8" stacked dado set and all SawStop cast-iron saws, is made from a phenolic core covered top and bottom with a low-friction melamine surface. Positioning screws and a positive locking latch ensure a tool-free, precise and snug fit in the saw’s table. The insert comes as a solid piece; you create the initial slot by raising your dado set through it before wood is cut.
