Description
This blade set covers a wide range of applications. It includes one each of the three blades that complement the 5/16" 6 tpi blade that comes with the Rikon 10" deluxe bandsaws (models 10-306 and 10-3061). Each has a hook-tooth design with a 10° rake angle to cut aggressively, and deep gullets to clear sawdust efficiently.
The 1/8" × 14 tpi blade is for scroll cutting and the 3/8" × 4 tpi blade is well suited to roughing blanks for carving or turning. The 1/2" × 3 tpi coarse-tooth blade excels at ripping thick stock and resawing; it can also be used to cut turning blanks.
All are good-quality 70 1/2" blades, suitable for wood as well as plastic and non-ferrous metal.
