This is the same paper we wrap our planes and other tools in to protect them from rust during shipping.
The thick, durable kraft paper is treated with VpCI (vapor corrosion inhibitor), which gives off a harmless vapor that forms an invisible crystal barrier over the entire tool surface, including hard-to-reach areas. Used to wrap tools in an enclosed space such as a drawer or toolbox, it impedes corrosion on both ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
