These practical tools make dispensing, applying and cleaning up glue easier. For use with polyurethanes, epoxies and water-based adhesives such as PVAs and animal glues, the set includes a compact tray, two sizes of good-quality brushes and a versatile spreader. Nearly all components are made of durable silicone, so you can simply peel off any dried glue for quick and easy clean-ups.
Constructed of 3/16" thick material, the tray flexes enough that you can readily dispense glue or return a surplus to its container through the pouring lips that double as brush rests. The tray has a ribbed surface for removing excess glue from brushes, and measures about 3 3/8" wide by 5 1/4" long by 7/8" deep.
The brush heads have strong silicone bristles that won’t break when you pull on them to peel away dried glue. Made of tough polypropylene, the handles have integral scraper ends. The large brush is 1 1/4" wide, and the small is 1/2" wide.
For applying glue to broad surfaces, the spreader has a bevel on one edge that lets you spread a large amount of adhesive quickly, and comb teeth on another to create grooves that remove excess glue for better adhesion.
Not suitable for use with CA glues.
