Description
When used with the Emtech water-based lacquer, this ultra-low VOC sealer helps prevent uneven absorption in oily or resinous woods, producing a colorless base coat.
It can also be tinted with universal pigments or water-soluble aniline dyes to add color without obscuring the grain. Its water-clear appearance when liquid makes it easier to adjust the tint ratio to achieve the desired effect. The sealer can also be used as a conditioner prior to applying water-based stain on woods prone to blotching.
Can be brushed or sprayed; dries to the touch in 30 minutes. Allow one hour before sanding. The 1 quart can covers about 100 sq.ft.
