These sheets have aluminum oxide grit bonded to a tough polyamide mesh, allowing sanding dust to be drawn through the entire sheet. This maximizes dust recovery as it resists loading, increasing abrasive efficiency and reducing sheet wear.

These Mirka Abranet 2 3/4" × 7 3/4" grip sheets bond aluminum oxide grit to a polyamide mesh that lets dust pass straight through instead of collecting on the grit, which resists loading and keeps the sheet cutting efficiently for longer than a solid-backed sheet.
