Black & White Ebony (Diospyros malabarica) – Also known as pale moon ebony, it is a highly variegated wood with irregular patterns of dark brown to black grain interspersed with light tan grain. Straight grained with a fine, uniform texture, it is a dense, hard wood that turns well but is prone to checking as it dries.
Nominal measurements are 3/4" square by 5" long.
