A light-colored, medium-density wood often favored for carving, basswood is easy to work, with a fine, even texture that takes detail well. These whittling blanks are select-grade North American basswood, kiln dried, then milled to nominal dimensions and sanded smooth on all faces. The three-piece set includes 13/4"x13/4" blanks of various lengths. The 10-piece set includes two 3/4"x1"x2", two 3/4"x1"x4", three 3/4"x1 1/2"x2", and three 3/4"x11/2"x4" blanks.
