Instructor BioJo Ann Kronquist has been practising bookbinding and mat cutting since graduating in photography from the Emily Carr Institute of Art + Design in Vancouver. After constructing books as a practical means to store her photographs, she explored traditional and alternative bookbinding methods. She wrote the book The Essentials of Matting and Framing and enjoys working as a picture framer and running her business, Framequist.
