Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate

Description: Spring is in the air, and it’s time to get sowing. Susan Lefebvre will help you plant your own self-watering seed starter in this workshop. You will select from a variety of vegetable seeds that require a longer growing season, or choose your favorite herbs for an indoor garden. Sue will explain how to keep your seedlings healthy and robust. She will also discuss transplanting techniques and requirements so you can achieve the best results for your garden.

Bio: Susan Lefebvre graduated from Old Agriculture College and has been a professional commercial gardener for decades. She does both acreage and greenhouse gardening. Every year, she plans her starters and gets ready for her favorite time of year – growing season. A Lee Valley employee, Sue has a passion for gardening and loves to share her knowledge with both beginners and seasoned gardeners.
