Instructor Bio

Alain Huard joined the Marquetry Society of Canada in 2003 after seeing a model of a piano at a hobby show. He was fascinated by the detail and creativity that John Sedgewick, the founder of the society and the creator of the piano model, was able to achieve with natural wood veneers. Alain has been teaching marquetry since 2009 and is the current president of the Marquetry Society of Canada.
