Beginner Power Carving

Learn the basics of power carving as you carve a small project. A recommended tools list will be available, and you are encouraged to bring your own favorite rotary tools. All materials will be provided as well as tools for those who are unable bring their own.

Instructor Bio

Jean Mousseau carved his first fish in 1998 as a gift for a friend who got him hooked on fishing. Since then he has produced numerous fish carvings for competitions as well as for gifts and donations. He enjoys sharing his knowledge and passion at local carving clubs and workshops.

Registration Requirements

Seating is Limited. Please register early to avoid disappointment. Unless otherwise stated, previous experience is not required to participate in seminars and attendees should be 16 years old or older. Seminar tickets are not available online.

Tools & Materials

All tools and materials will be supplied.

Food & Drink

Beverages are provided at our seminars and a light sandwich lunch is provided at all-day events. Please discuss any special dietary needs with the staff at time of registration. In an effort to reduce waste, we encourage you to bring in your own coffee mug and/or refillable water bottle.

What to Wear

We require that you wear closed shoes (e.g. running shoes) to all seminars.
