Rifflers

Rifflers are slim double-ended finishing tools with a space for gripping in the middle and are primarily used by carvers to remove small amounts of material in a localized area. They are well suited to working in tight spaces and doing detail work or cleaning up carvings. Rifflers can be file-cut with long lines of teeth or rasp-cut with pointy teeth, or can have both with one on each end. Very good tools for erasing tool marks, particularly those that are difficult to reach.
