A. PGT® Double-Reverse BladesGround from high-carbon steel, PGT (precision-ground tooth) blades have a unique fast-cutting tooth geometry, with wide gullets between the teeth for rapid chip clearance and reduced risk of burning.
The teeth on the lower blade section are reversed so they cut on the up stroke, minimizing tear-out and leaving a clean finish that requires little sanding.
Sold in packages of six 5-1/4" blades with plain (unpinned) ends. Made in USA.
B. Crown Reverse-Tooth Blades
With a pattern of opposing teeth arranged in pairs, these blades cut on both the up stroke and down stroke, minimizing tearout. They cut cleanly but relatively slowly, which allows excellent control on delicate work.
The thin blades on the smaller sizes cut fine kerfs, allowing you to cut extremely tight-radius curves. To extend blade life, they can be inverted once they begin to show signs of wear.
Sold in packages of twelve 5-1/4" blades with plain (unpinned) ends. Made in Germany.
