Our hanger knob for a steel door will readily support up to 3 lb. It is nickel-plated steel, which is then gold plated, and it has a 3/4" rare-earth magnet in its base.
When not in use for wreath hanging, it can be used for holding notices to the door, or as the world's strongest fridge magnet. 7/8" dia. base by 3/4" high.
The bases on the hanger knob are covered with a soft, high-friction pad to make them non-marring in use.
