Branding irons let you personalize your woodworking projects.
Intended for use with a propane torch, they reach working temperatures of 800° to 900° F in 2 to 3 minutes.
We offer two models, one with "HAND CRAFTED BY" as the first line, and the other a custom model with 2 lines of your choice. The first line in either model can be set in a straight line or set in an arc.
The solid brass heads can be set with up to 20 characters per line. All letters are upper case, 1/8" high. For names such as "MACDONALD", the "A" and "C" will be upper case, but in a reduced size. Numbers and punctuation marks can be included and count as 1 character, as do spaces.
The irons are about 12" long, with a steel shaft, wooden handle, and brass head (about 1-5/8" to 2-7/8" wide depending on the number of characters).
