Holographic Scare Tape

Yes, it can help deter birds, but results vary and may be temporary. The movement and reflected flashes can startle birds into staying away, but they often learn to ignore the tape once they recognize there is no danger. For the best results, move the holographic tape periodically and combine it with other deterrents. For protecting ripening fruit, properly installed bird netting generally provides more dependable protection.

Cut it into strips and hang them near fruit, vegetables and other plants, or string the tape out in long lines.
