Its slim, rectangular shape lets you rub out marks in tight spaces, and it is held in a clip that allows you to extend the eraser as it wears. You can replace a worn-out eraser, eliminating the common problem of using it up or breaking it off long before the pencil is worn down.
Inspired by the classic Faber Castell design that was long the favorite of artists and writers, the pencils are made in Japan with traditional incense-cedar bodies and refined graphite leads. Approximate lead hardness listed.
Replacement erasers are available separately.
