While the pictures shown here certainly outline a wide range of uses for this versatile clip-and-hook combination, they hardly begin to describe the countless ways it can be used in various situations. Much like having a third hand, it provides an array of possibilities for holding, hanging and securing loose items.
Each consists of a main clip body that’s machined from strong, lightweight anodized aluminum with a sturdy steel spring gate closure, combined with a fold-out aluminum hook. The clip and hook are linked by a double-hinged swivel connector that’s made of high-strength composite material and can rotate 360° to position the clip in any orientation – a flexible design that easily adapts to suit the application.
There are times when it’s more convenient to use the hook to hang the clip; in other situations, you’ll want to use the clip to hang the hook. And when you don’t need the hook, it simply tucks in to lie flush alongside the body, allowing the clip to function as a regular carabiner. We offer them as a set of two (one small, one large).
The small version has a 2" long by 1 1/2" clip and a 1 1/2" diameter hook, capable of holding up to 40 lb yet weighing less than 3/4 oz. The large, with a 2 3/4" by 1 3/4" clip and a 2 1/4" diameter hook, can hold up to 50 lb and weighs just 1.1 oz.
