Leonardo da Vinci filled his notebooks with ideas for flying machines centuries before powered flight became a reality. Created by paper artist Andrew Dewar, this kit recreates 13 of da Vinci's most imaginative flying machine concepts as paper models you can build and fly.
The pre-cut parts assemble into a variety of gliders, helicopters and other flying machines. A full-color 64-page interactive booklet explores da Vinci's fascination with flight, explains the theory behind each design, and provides illustrated step-by-step assembly instructions. It’s an engaging way to discover some of history’s most inventive thinking and then put it to the test.
The kit includes a pre-assembled rubber-band launcher. All you need is glue to build the models.
