Description
One of the best features of a flexible rule is that you don't have to lay it on a surface to measure; you can press it against a surface while still holding one end in your hand.
These Starrett rules have a no-glare satin chrome finish that provides better rust resistance than polished steel. Each rule end is accurately ground to allow reading from either end. Graduations are machine-divided (not photoengraved) for uniformity of line width and depth.
The 1/64" thick (0.4mm) rules are available in two graduation styles, 4R (with increments in 8ths, 16ths, 32nds and 64ths) and 16R (32nds, 64ths, 50ths, 100ths). The 6" and 12" flexible rules are 1/2" wide; the 18" flexible rule is 3/4" wide.
