About Veritas seconds: the stock of our low-angle jack plane (05P3471) has some minor cosmetic flaws – a scratch, a pit in the casting, or tiny blemishes – but the plane is functionally perfect. Quantities of seconds are limited and expected to sell out quickly.
One of our most popular planes, the bevel-up low-angle jack bench plane is excellent for shooting miters, working end grain and initial smoothing. We have designated it as a 62 1/2 because of its generous size, greater weight, low center of gravity and radically set-back mouth.
