Mini-Turbo, TurboShaft & Ball Gouge Wood-Shaping Tools

Sized for small-scale and detail work, these angle grinder attachments remove material with a planing action that yields an exceptionally smooth surface and is easy to control. Each has a durable circular cutter that is highly resistant to wear, but can be rotated as needed to expose a fresh edge and replaced when fully worn.

The Mini-Turbo tool's wheel is 2" in diameter, and has a 2 1/2" long shaft to reach around projections or into hollows. Hold it flat to the work to level a surface or tilt it for freehand sculpting of convex or concave shapes. The shaping wheel can be removed and substituted with the included 2" sanding platens (one each of 40x, 60x, 80x and 120x grit supplied). PSA-backed sandpaper (you supply) can also be used in place of worn sanding discs.

The TurboShaft tool, with a 3/4" diameter shaping wheel and 3 1/8" long shaft, can be used much like a stylus for deep hollowing and detailed shaping, reaching into places other carving wheels can't. It includes a collar that fastens to the shaft to serve as a depth stop with an adjustment range of 3/16" to 2 9/16".

The Ball Gouge tool has a 13/16" diameter ring-shaped cutter made of high-speed steel and a 3 1/2" shaft. It excels at shaping rounded contours, especially when undercutting.

All three attachments are compatible with standard 4" and 4 1/2" angle grinders with a 5/8" spindle (the grinder's auxiliary side handle should be used to ensure adequate control).
