Designed to give professional-quality results with a minimum of noise, dust and effort, LEROS is an outstanding tool for sanding walls and ceilings. Weighing just 3.5kg (7.7 lb), it has a well-balanced, ergonomic design, so it’s easy to handle. It has a rear port for connection to a 1" diamater vacuum hose (available separately), and a pattern of holes in the platen distributes suction across the entire sanding disc, extracting dust right at the source to greatly reduce clean-up time.
Its head pivots 180°, which combines with the vacuum suction to help stay flush with the wall, so you can approach from a comfortable angle without risk of digging in. The 47" sander lets users of average height easily reach from floor to ceiling in most residential interiors. Its 250W brushless motor has seven speeds from 4000 to 8000 rpm. The 9" diameter platen and aggressive 5mm orbit pattern permit rapid sanding of large surfaces, while the platen’s bevelled sides help avoid contact with adjacent surfaces when sanding into corners. It has a noise rating of 73 dB as well as low vibration output (2.5m/s²), and pairs with the myMirka app to monitor long-term vibration exposure. Supplied with a nylon carrying case and a small sample kit of Abranet discs. Backed by a 2-year warranty.
The kit comes with 20 additional Abranet discs (10 each of 180x and 240x) that use aluminum oxide grit bonded to a tough polyamide mesh to resist loading and maximize dust recovery.
It also includes a large, ruggedly constructed tool bag measuring approximately 20" long, with a wide-mouthed zippered opening, reinforced ends, sturdy handles and 10 interior pockets for organized storage of supplies.
