This kit provides everything you need to expand your workshop capabilities with a powerful 1 3/4 hp bandsaw.
It includes the Rikon 10-326, a versatile machine backed by a 5-year warranty, with ample power to cut dense, thick hardwoods without risk of stalling. Its table provides a broad, stable surface for working with large stock, and a handwheel-controlled mechanism allows easy, precise tilt adjustments.
Accurate and easy to use, it has a welded steel frame for rigidity, and ball-bearing blade guides above and below the table to help prevent twisting and deflection.
The upper guide/blade guard assembly has a rack-and-pinion mechanism for smooth height adjustments, and the fence’s direct-reading scale permits quick, accurate positioning. The fence can be switched to a horizontal orientation for better safety and blade control when cutting thin, narrow stock. It easily adjusts to compensate for drift, and has a removable resaw guide with a cambered surface to allow quick course corrections.
Blade changes and bearing adjustments require no tools, and the guard’s hinged front swings out of the way for easy access. Instead of the usual grub screws, low-profile knobs secure the bearings, which automatically retract during blade changes but are easy to reposition before locking them down.
A release lever lets you instantly loosen blade tension after a work session to avoid premature blade fatigue and wear to the bearings, tires and spring.
A 5/8" × 4 tpi regular-tooth blade is supplied; additional 111'' long blades sold separately. A cabinet in the base provides storage for blades and other accessories.
For mobility around the workshop, the kit includes a wheeled bracket set. Its foot pedal raises the stationary feet, placing the saw’s weight on the wheels so you can easily roll it when needed.
The kit also includes a bright LED work light that’s easy to aim as needed. A strong rare-earth magnet in the anodized aluminum base lets you mount it anywhere on the saw’s steel housing, and the 18" flexible steel gooseneck is easy to bend into position yet stiff enough to hold its shape even when extended far to one side. The sturdy plastic quick-release clip also contains a rare-earth magnet, holding the base parallel to the mounting surface while allowing easy detachment.
Powered by three AA batteries (not included), the Cree LED emits a bright beam that can be focused from a wide angle to a narrow spot.
