To make precise router work more widely accessible, JessEm developed this line of economically priced full-size router table components without sacrificing utility or reliable performance. The result is this basic but well-conceived router table set.
The generously sized 24" × 31 7/8" table top is made of 1 1/8" thick MDF – an inexpensive alternative to the phenolic table tops JessEm is known for, but nonetheless a smooth, tough material chosen for its high wear resistance, low-friction surface and long-term dimensional stability.
The 11 3/4" × 9 1/4" Mast-R-Plate table insert comes pre-drilled with a pattern of mounting holes that accept a wide variety of routers, eliminating the need to buy a plate specifically for your router model or having to drill the plate for a perfect fit. It also accommodates the vertical rod commonly found on routers that have their own built-in height-adjustment mechanism.
The included Rout-R-Fence II is made of steel for rigidity, protected by a powder-coat finish for resistance to rust and wear. It has two MDF sub-fences (15 3/4" each) that let you adjust the fence opening to accommodate bit profiles for zero-clearance routing, with locking knobs on the backside of the fence for fast, tool-free adjustments. The fence mounts onto the table with a straightforward, reliable cam system, so it can be easily released for repositioning and secured by simply flipping a pair of locking levers. An extruded aluminum T-track on the face lets you mount jigs and accessories, such as the included clear acrylic safety shield, and the integrated dust port accepts a standard 2 1/4" hose.
The 36" tall heavy-gauge powder-coated steel stand has cross-braces for extra tabletop support and levelling feet for uneven surfaces.
The plate insert and fence are also available separately. The table top is also compatible with any of JessEm’s Rout-R-Lifts (sold separately).
