Developed for pen assembly, this epoxy offers a practical alternative to cyanoacrylate (CA) adhesive when more working time is preferred. Its gel-like consistency is thicker than most CA glues, reducing the likelihood of runs or drips during assembly.
It cures in about 5 minutes; the extended open time allows careful positioning of components before the bond sets. Like other epoxies, it bonds dissimilar materials and adheres reliably to both porous and nonporous penmaking materials, including brass, synthetics and oily exotic woods.
Supplied as a 24ml tube of epoxy and a 24ml tube of hardener; mix in a 1:1 ratio.
