Oxalic Acid

This versatile organic compound is used primarily for cleaning wood, particularly after it has become weathered from prolonged exposure to the elements. Oxalic acid will remove stains or lighten wood colors to achieve uniformity, returning the wood to its original color without fully bleaching and stripping it of its natural hues.

Also effective on stone. 99.6% oxalic acid in powder form. Mix according to instructions.

Allow time for drying, then rinse or wipe thoroughly with a damp rag to remove residue before finishing.
