Clamp Plate & Posts for Kreg Hold-Down Clamps

Attached to the bottom of a Kreg hold-down clamp (sold separately), these plates and posts let you quickly position the clamp anywhere you can drill a hole. The bolt supplied with the clamp is used to attach it to the mounting plate. The steel posts, available in 2 1/2", 5" and 10" lengths, insert into any 3/4" diameter hole, and have barb-like ridges along their length to prevent upward movement when clamping force is applied.

We also offer a 20mm post that fits in the perforated table top of a Festool MFT/3 multifunction table. The post is 11/16" long – just less than the table top’s 3/4" thickness – threaded internally for use with the supplied clamping knob (or an MFT accessory clamping knob).

The steel mounting plate adds 3/8" to the maximum capacity of the Kreg clamps but doesn’t affect their minimum; you can still adjust the clamps to hold materials as thin as 5/16” against a surface. Since the mounting plates can be used interchangeably with any of the post lengths, the posts are also available separately. The plates and posts are made in Canada.

For Veritas Worksurface users, the 2 1/2" long post is useable with any size of Worksurface; the 5” long post is compatible with a Worksurface fitted with our wooden risers.
