These versatile heavy-duty press screws are ideal for creating custom veneer presses or Moxon-style vises. They perform equally well for bookbinding and deep-reach surface clamping.
The head and swivel base are both made of cast iron. The base can be removed with a screwdriver for easy installation, while the head can be held firmly in place with two wood screws.
The smoothly cut Acme threads provide a consistently tight hold, while the crank-style handle allows for quick adjustments. Made of cold drawn steel, the threaded screw measures 11/16".
Available in 9", 12" and 18" lengths.
