We designed this rack as a way to store our line of Lee Valley medium-handled garden tools on a wall, keeping them organized, out of the way and at the ready in a garden shed.
Of course, it can be used with other tools as well, provided they have a similar handle shape, tapering to less than 1 1/8" in diameter to slip into the sockets, with a thicker section to stop them from sliding all the way through. Made from 15mm thick unfinished Baltic birch plywood, the 21 1/4" wide rack holds seven tools and mounts with two included screws; mounting holes are spaced on 16" centers.
