A 21" × 11" reservoir tray holds eight 5 1/4" square trays of nine cells (1 1/2" square by 2" deep). Each cell contains a compressed coir pellet that expands as it absorbs water to provide a convenient growing medium.
A clear plastic lid covers the 72-cell unit, helping maintain a warm, humid greenhouse-like environment to promote germination.
Transplant-ready seedlings are slipped out easily by pushing up the cell bottoms.
