Description
Sliding door hardware lets you hang a door where a swinging door would be impractical due to space constraints or traffic flow. Hand forged and American made, this barn-door hardware is based on traditional designs. Easy to install, the top track surface-mounts on the wall over the doorway and no bottom track is necessary. A small floor-mounted guide on one side of the doorway keeps the door stable and aligned. Constructed with 3/16" thick steel for strength, it has a black powder-coat finish that gives it a smooth wrought-iron appearance.
The artisan roller has a hardwood hub cut with spokes and finished with a dark stain. A top-mounting style, it supports a door weighing up to 200 lb. It is 8 1/2" tall overall with a 2" wide strap and a 5 1/2" diameter wheel.
The kit includes all you need to mount one door: two rollers, a 72" steel track, bolts and spacers for wall mounting, two end stops and a floor guide. The track is pre-drilled for 16" centers for mounting to wood studs. Requires #12 screws (not included) for attaching the door to the rollers.
