Description
Sliding door hardware lets you hang a door where a swinging door would be impractical due to space constraints or traffic flow. Hand forged and American made, this barn-door hardware is based on traditional designs. Easy to install, the top track surface-mounts on the wall over the doorway and no bottom track is necessary. A small floor-mounted guide on one side of the doorway keeps the door stable and aligned. Constructed with 3/16" thick steel for strength, it has a black powder-coat finish that gives it a smooth wrought-iron appearance.
The face-mount roller features a long strap that arches over its wheel. It can support a door weighing up to 600 lb. It is 14 1/2" tall overall with a 2" wide strap and a 3" diameter wheel. Maximum door thickness is 1 5/8".
The kit includes all you need to mount one door: two rollers, a 72" steel track, bolts and spacers for wall mounting, two end stops and a floor guide. The track is pre-drilled for 16" centers for mounting to wood studs. Screws for attaching the door to the rollers are included.
