Description
Biscuit joinery is a fast and accurate method of making edge joints. These die-cast biscuit halves can be used to make permanent or dismountable hidden joints.
Fitting in a standard 4mm slot, 12.5mm (1/2") deep, the halves interlock when pressed together. To disassemble the joint, slide the joined pieces parallel to the biscuit to disengage the interlock. For a permanent joint, integral tabs in the biscuit body can be bent out to prevent the halves from sliding.
We offer two styles of fastener – a screw-in model (screws included) for softer materials and a flanged drive-in model for harder materials. Sold in packages of 10 insert halves – enough for five joints.
