Ball-bearing axle yo-yos are favored for their ease of use and ability to "sleep" for long durations, a necessity for advanced tricks.
This kit supplies the yo-yo hardware, two strings and assembly instructions; you supply and turn the wood blanks (minimum 2 1/2" square by 3/4" thick). Construction is straightforward and requires use of a special threaded mandrel (available separately) for holding the yo-yo hubs. Makes an enjoyable gift.
